The Egyptian Mohamed Salah is like a gift from heaven for the Swiss Super League holding champion, FC Basel. Played for an obscure club in his country, Al Mokawloon, until 2012, he was brought to Switzerland in summer 2012 to sign his contract with FC Basel. Since then, the 21-year old Egypt international is an indispensable player for Die Rotblau. His most famous contributions were his goals that took FC Basel into a new history, playing at Europa League 2012-2013 Semi-Final.
